Certified Health Coach

 
Position Summary:

As the Health Coach, you will be responsible for on-boarding, communicating, guiding, and supporting patients going through our Metabolic Reset Weight Loss Program. You will be advising patients on nutrition and lifestyle strategies using personally developed experiences along with our proven, doctor-developed weight loss program. The primary aspect of this position is nutrition guidance and health coaching sessions, during which time you will discuss the patient’s progress and address issues such as stress factors, weight plateaus, exercise, relaxation techniques, meal planning, and advice on wellbeing.

 

Performance Objectives: 
  • On-board patients onto our weight loss program.
  • Utilize tools and techniques to embrace coaching a lifestyle for all patients
  • Consistently offer the highest level of nutritional and lifestyle support while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.

Front Office Receptionist

 
Position Summary:

As the Front Desk/Receptionist, you will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the clinic and the acquisition and retention of patients by communicating with all potential patients who contact the clinic. In this role, you will be highly patient facing and require a high level of organization and multitasking. You will be welcoming patients into the office, collecting payments, filing paperwork and creating a remarkable experience.  As the Front Desk/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for many patients entering the building so it is expected that you present yourself in a professional manner that positively represents our clinic.

Performance Objectives: 
  • Schedule new patients as well as follow up appointments
  • Prepare waiting room and facilities for patient arrival and end of day to set the next day up for success.
  • Greet and manage new patient intake which includes creating a comfortable environment, check-in, paperwork completion and verification, collecting all payment and scanning and updating patient information (insurance, ID, etc.)
  • Ensure all patients are appropriately processed at the end of treatment
  • Maintain charts in an orderly fashion and ensure accuracy.
  • Answer incoming calls and make cold calls while taking notes or messages
  • Educate the patient on the services provided in the clinic
  • Consistently offer the highest level of personalized customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.

Nurse Practitioner

 
Position Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner at Brain and Body Health Center & Integrative Medicine, you will be expected to bring about the retention of long-term quality patients for the company through the execution of service delivery systems so the patients’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded. You will be needed to assess, advise and treat patients in accordance with our services offered in the clinic. As the clinic Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for looking at the body as a whole and assisting in the creation of treatment plans for our patients to receive the most comprehensive care.

You will be an essential piece of the integrated clinic and will work in tandem to collaborate with professionals to result in the most effective treatment plans and clinical outcomes. This position requires someone who will be compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated and gets excited about a challenge. You must be a team player who has a genuine interest in helping others, along with an interest in changing the conversation with patients, the public and other providers about how we provide healthcare in the U.S.

Performance Objectives:
  • Evaluate new patients to determine if and which services they could benefit from
  • Monitor patients for improvements and set-backs so as to modify services to help clients meet or exceed expectations
  • Monitor patients for compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations
  • Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
  • Complete and document orthopedic and neurological medical exam
  • Supervise and administer injections (trigger point, joint, IV, etc.)
  • Recognize and acknowledge when patients improve and reach goals
  • Assist in the recruitment of new patients through internal and external lead generating activities
  • Engage in effective communication with clinical as well as administrative staff to ensure seamless flow of production to allow for increased growth of company’s services delivered to meet the strategic objective of the company
  • Properly complete paperwork on each patient encounter and keep notes current by the end of each shift to company standards
  • Ensure all patient care is focused on an upstream medical philosophy, (prevention and function based) instead of a downstream one, (symptom based)
  • Will follow all protocols written including; no prescribing class II narcotics or no prescribing antidepressants to our patients. Will refer these patients to their primary care physician for said services if needed

Education & Experience:
  • Valid license in State of Virginia
  • Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in State of Virginia

  • Experience injecting joints preferred
