Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)
A non-surgical medical acoustic device designed to increase blood circulation and stimulate the body’s intrinsic repair process.
How Does It Work?
Shockwave therapy does not emit “shocks”. Instead this device emits acoustic waves that carry energy which can be focused to produce micro-trauma which results in the release of angiogenic factors (essential for healing, growth, and development).
“Shock waves” are audible high-energy sound waves. They occur in the atmosphere during lighting strikes, or even when airplanes break the sound barrier.
However, in the medical world, acoustic waves with high-energy interact with tissue causing overall medical effects of accelerate tissue repair and cell growth, analgesia and mobility restoration.

Promote Regeneration
Stimulate the cellular activity of stem cells, muscles, ligaments and tendon tissues.
Regulate Inflammation
Promote optimal inflammation for healing.
Reduce painful inflammation and swelling.
Chronic Pain Relief
Immediate and long lasting. Including nerve pain, joint pain, & soft tissue pain.
Increase Blood Flow
Improve blood flow to injuries tissue.
Remove restrictions in muscle and fascia.
Remove Scar Tissue
Break down calcifications, reduces scar tissue, stretch marks, cellulite and adhesions.
Release Muscles
Break down chronic muscle tension. Release painful stiff muscles.
Who Can Benefit
Cellulite

Shockwave helps break up stubborn cellulite bands by restoring collagen formation and breaking down enlarged fat cells while improving muscle tone and skin elasticity.
Plantar Fasciitis

Shockwaves introduce a small amount of controlled stress to the plantar fascia, which restarts the body’s natural healing process. Patients have reported a significant reduction in heel pain and symptoms, as well as an increase in the ankle and foot mobility.
Musculoskeletal

Shockwaves can break up calcifications in joints, help improve tendonitis causing pain at the joint, and even chronic degenerative arthritis pain.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many treatments will I need?
- It depends on the treatment area and tissue being treated. Typically 3-6 treatments are required and spaced out from 3 days to 1 week apart.
Does the treatment hurt?
There may be a slight feeling of discomfort during the treatment, depending on the level of pain the patient is already experiencing in the area. However, since the treatment lasts only about five minutes, most patients are able to tolerate this discomfort. Additionally, the intensity of the treatment can be adjusted throughout the session.
What to expect post treatment?
- Most patients will experience a reduction in symptoms and increased range of motion (joint treatments) following the treatment. Within 2-4 hours after the treatment, they may experience some soreness in the treated area. This soreness has been reported as tolerable and resolving within 24-72 hours.
How much is the treatment?
Treatment sessions start at $75
Packages of 6 sessions for $390
Packages of 12 sessions for $600
