About Us

Dr. Marygrace Hajec

MD

Dr. Marygrace Hajec, MD, serves as our physician Medical Director. Her specialty is General Practice with a focus on Integrative and Functional Health, Anti-Aging, and Minimally Invasive musculoskeletal pain control procedures and Regenerative Medicine.

She received her doctorate from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. Dr. Hajec completed an internship in General Surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital in New Jersey, three years of Neurosurgery residency at Virginia Commonwealth University and several clinical and research fellowships at the National Institutes of Health, Virginia Commonwealth University, The University of Buffalo, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and the Karolinska Institute.

Her basic science research focus was Spinal Cord Injury and Traumatic Brain Injury, producing several publications. Outside of her profession, she enjoys spending time with her family, and travel.

Dr. Margaret Andrews

DNP, RN, LNP, WHNP-BC, CNE

 

Dr. Margaret Andrews, DNP, RN, LNP, WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, CNE has been a nurse practitioner for over 10 years. She completed her MSN degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice terminal degree from Duquesne University.

Dr. Andrews is the program director for the MSN FNP program at South University in Richmond, VA. In addition to teaching, she has extensive background in infectious diseases, women’s health, aesthetics and injections, adult-gerontology and medical weight loss.

She is a board certified women’s health nurse practitioner and a board certified family nurse practitioner as well as a certified nurse educator. Dr. Andrews is native to Richmond, VA and lives with her husband and dog. She enjoys reading, ballroom dancing, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Kate Bethune

MSN, FNP-BC

 

Kate Bethune is a certified family nurse practitioner and has been practicing for nearly five years. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in nursing and certificate in population health from Georgetown University, Kate spent four years as an emergency room nurse at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.

She received her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University and has specialized in interventional pain management since becoming a nurse practitioner. She is interested in finding the root cause of the pain via functional medicine and regenerative medicine techniques. She is experienced in joint injections, botox injections, trigger point injections and IV therapy and has recently received a certificate in nutrition for pain management from the Academy of Integrative Pain Management.

In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking healthy meals and spending time with her husband and her dogs.

Dr. Erica Riggleman

MS, DC

Dr. Erica Riggleman graduated from Logan College in Chesterfield, Missouri with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree as well as a Masters in Nutrition and Human Performance.  She specializes in functional medicine and is a graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute (AFNI).

Dr. Riggleman regularly teaches post-graduate educational seminars on topics such as functional nutrition, functional medicine, and functional neurology. She hosts a nationally known podcast called Thyroid Answers you can find on iTunes.

Dr. Riggleman enjoys living an active lifestyle indoors and outdoors as well as pursuing a clean and healthy lifestyle with her husband, Dr. Evan Riggleman.

Dr. Evan Riggleman

ATC, DC

Dr. Evan Riggleman graduated from Logan College in Chesterfield, Missouri with a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.  He is a Certified Athletic Trainer with a focus in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Riggleman is the cofounder of Brain & Body Regenerative Medicine and the community educator on various subjects and topics. You can often find him traveling around giving speaking engagements on specific conditions, unique approaches, and cutting edge techniques all promoting optimal wellness.

Dr. Riggleman has been helping patients overcome chronic conditions through the use of functional neurology and musculoskeletal retrainment procedures. Being a forefront innovator, he is constantly pursuing post graduate education in functional medicine and regenerative medicine to further the healthy lifestyles of his patients.
